Patient Coordinator

Hours: (M-TH) 7am-4pm and (F) 7am-2pm

Rate: $40,000/year

Mid America Health is growing! We are seeking a full time Patient Coordinator to add to our team! This position will work with our School Smiles Division and will primarily be responsible for verification of private insurances and Medicaid benefits. This individual will also be involved with patient scheduling and will be a liaison between our patients and clients. Strong customer/patient service skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment are a must to be successful in this position!

Patient Coordinator Job Requirements:

• Insurance verification experience

Patient Coordinator Job Preferences:

• Front Office dental experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Prior experience with dental practice management software and electronic records
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Associates Degree
